At St. Mary Cathedral School, we are committed to providing a current and relevant curriculum that nurtures the whole child—mind, body, and soul. We prioritize a strong Catholic academic foundation rooted in the virtues and Gospels.
Grades K-4: Students begin each day with homeroom and then follow a daily schedule where most classes are taught by their homeroom teacher. Core instruction includes Language Arts, Reading, Spelling, Handwriting, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Religion. Students also enjoy weekly instruction in Art, Computer, Music, and Physical Education, as well as multiple recess periods throughout the day.
Grades 5-8: Students in these grades also start with homeroom but experience a variety of teachers throughout the day. Their curriculum encompasses English, Literature, Vocabulary, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Religion, and Spanish. Weekly instruction is provided in Art, Computer, Music, Band, and Physical Education, and students have daily recess.
